Job Description:

Our client is seeking a Senior PeopleSoft Upgrade Specialist to support the implementation of required payroll system changes

within PeopleSoft resulting from newly enacted federal legislation under the One Big Beautiful Bill Act (OBBBA).

This role requires extensive experience with PeopleSoft and PeopleTools upgrades, patch installations, and middleware

administration to support payroll processing, pay rule adjustments, overtime calculations, tax updates, and related reporting

changes.

Responsibilities:

Execute required legislative update scripts, perform necessary system configuration changes, and create/retrofit existing payroll-related code, web services, interfaces, and reports within client Actives and Retirees environments to support implementation of changes mandated under the One Big Beautiful Bill Act (OBBBA).

Perform installation, maintenance, and configuration of PeopleSoft, PeopleTools, and associated Middleware infrastructure in support of OBBBA-driven payroll processing, pay rule adjustments, overtime calculations, tax updates, and related reporting changes.

Support the infrastructure of critical Citywide applications including client and related payroll components.

Work closely with the Technical Lead and project teams to coordinate OBBBA-related configuration changes, manage migrations across environments, and ensure timely completion of all implementation activities within established project timelines while balancing ongoing payroll operations and competing priorities.

Lead and oversee the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of Oracle Peoplesoft security products.

Drive the evolution of Peoplesoft security infrastructure, collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver effective security, identity, and access management solutions.

Oversee the end-to-end design, development, testing, and implementation of the Peoplesoft security infrastructure, adhering to architectural and security best practices.
